KIDS HELPING KIDS

Over the years we have participted in Operation Christmas Child, collections for our local food bank, and World Vision sponsorship programs.

For just $30 a month our kids can sponsor a child who needs some support while they are waiting for their forever family. That’s less than a dollar per month per student! For as little as $1 per month, our kids can change the life of an orphaned, abandoned, or vulnerable child while they wait for their Forever Family.

Holt sponsors children who have lost their parents or are at risk of losing their families due to illness, poverty or other hardships. They often come into care malnourished. Our gifts provide food, shelter, clothing and attentive care, meeting our sponsored child's basic needs Most of the children Holt sponsors will be permanently united with families. When we join Holt as a sponsor, our sponsorship will continue even if our child is adopted or reunited with his or her birth family. In that way, our loving, ongoing support changes not just one – but many children's lives – forever.

This is something that can fit into a preschoolers budget. It would be wonderful if your children could be given the opportunity to EARN that dollar so that it isn’t just Mom and Dad’s money…but their own money that they lovingly give away.

We can look forward to hearing from our child at least 3 times per year. And, this gets even more exciting…once our child gets placed with their “Forever Family”, we can have a celebration and look forward to getting a new child for us to help. We can make a difference in MANY children’s lives…one child at a time. This project is completely optional. It is not meant to be a big financial commitment for anyone. Remember, this is meant to fit the budget of a preschooler. “Many hands make light work.” Let’s see what our pooled resources can do! If we raise more than the $30 that we need for the month, then any additional monies will be stored to cover the summer months when school is out.
